Unlike most AI chat apps, Alfie doesn't keep a history of past conversations. There's no "past chats" list. This is privacy by design, not a missing feature.

Reflections work two ways. Sometimes Alfie flags a meaningful moment in conversation and offers you the choice to save it. Skill summaries — from sweeps, daily reviews, weekly reviews — are saved automatically so they can feed into future sessions. Both types are marked with a green dot in chat so you always know what's being kept. Everything is accessible at /reflections, where you can review and delete anytime.

AI Processing

Alfie uses Anthropic's Claude for conversations. Your messages are sent to Claude's API to generate responses. Anthropic's API does not use customer data for model training — see Anthropic's usage policy for details.

We send only what's needed for the current conversation. We don't send your full history, your email, or your identity to the AI.
